A Message from our CEO at the SIAE Group

COVID-19 Policy

We are entering unprecedented times. A new virus is sweeping the globe many times faster than an average influenza strain. We want you to know that we're here for you.

As of 24th March 2020, there have been over 395,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus) and just over 33% of carriers have recovered. We hope that the recovery rate continues increasing.

Due to the uncertainty of future events, the Shilton Investments and Enterprise Group (our parent company) has taken the difficult decision of temporarily closing all of the businesses in the group (including our livestock distribution networking business, QCD National Distribution), and halting progress on 1 pre-revenue project, our luxury puddings manufacturer, Felicity's.

Quackers Call Ducks will be sending weekly updates to clients, to update them on progress, as advised by the Group.

Sadly, the Group's Senior Management team have taken the decision to postpone all reservations placed with all of the livestock businesses in the group (Upper Brook House Farm, Upper Brook House Farm International, Quackers Call Ducks and QCD National Distribution). Unfortunately this is out of our control, and the group has taken this step as a precautionary measure to protect the interests of its staff and other stakeholders.

We are confident that we will still be able to fulfil your order(s), however, due to the unpredictable nature of the epidemic, we are unable to guarantee this, and there will almost certainly be a delay.

Should you wish to cancel your order, you can contact our team, and you will be refunded a minimum of 60% of your deposit. The remaining percentage will be retained to cover costs. We are currently in negotiations with other businesses in the group to create a scheme with which we can supply vouchers for other businesses in the group in lieu of the deposit. The situation remains the same if we are unable to fulfil the order.

On a separate note, we have taken this opportunity to completely refurbish the websites of the businesses in the group (with the exceptions of Quackers Call Ducks and Upper Brook House Farm), as well as the website of the Group itself. As a result, the websites of businesses in the Group will become inactive from 12:30pm on the 21st March 2020. No further orders will be processed.

We apologise for the situation and my team is working to find a solution. Upper Brook House Farm/Quackers Call Ducks remains optimistic for the remainder of the 2020 season.

Should you have any questions, please contact Upper Brook House Farm.

Stay Safe,

James Shilton
